Bells Engineering Charity Track Day 21st July 2010 Llandow Circuit
Christopher Darwin & team ran another
successful charity track day at Llandow circuit generously sponsored by
Bells Engineering raising over £2500 for Combat Stress & Evans Foundation
charities.
The 36 track days since March 2001 have raised over £110,000 for various
good causes.

Seemingly
as ever at Pembrey Cardiff based Phil Bevan was the star of the Powerbike
and
Phoenix Yamaha (Trowbridge) Open
as he reeled of fast lap after fast lap on his new R1. When I say new, it’s
new to Phil who only picked the bike up on the Thursday afternoon…. two days
before the meeting ! The ex-Tommy Hill ex-Co-ordit R1, Chris Beverley last
years 400 champion come good on his 600 Honda by blitzing the grid.

Racing Rounds 7 & 8 Snetterton Circuit 12/13 June 2010
“Lap
Records galore, in Snetterton Showdown”
NG Road
Racing lap records tumbled at Snetterton in near perfect weather conditions
for rounds 7 and 8 of the club’s 15 rounds season long campaign. With bright
sunshine and a following wind down the Revett Straight a total of 15 of the
19 club class lap records fell all weekend. Peter Ward on the Astro ZX10
also came within a whisker of a new outright club lap record, missing out by
just five one hundredths of a seconds from taking Richard Coopers figures
from the record books lapping at 102.81mph average.

Road Racing Brands Hatch 20-21 March 2010 Rounds 1 & 2
With a
Brands Hatch crowd that included, Randy Mamola, Bradley Smith, and Tommy
Hill, the pressure was on for good racing to be served up for the first
meeting of the 2010 NG Road Racing season. Despite some dreadful weather
conditions on Saturday the packed grids did not disappoint the illustrious
spectators, and when Sunday morning saw blue skies the racing got even
better.
With
this NG meeting being just 2 weeks before the first round of the MCE British
Championship the grids were bolstered by a host of top class riders and
major teams. The whole KRP 125 team were there, as were the MAP Triumphs.
The rider list had BSB names in each and every race, which spurred on the NG
regulars, with several raising their game to take on their well-known
